This is a serious knife. It has alot of weight, and seems to cut very well. I haven’t had them for too long, so I don’t know how they hold their sharpness, but out of the box they are very impressive, and guests will definitely point out what good knives you have.

My girlfriend received a set of these knives as a gift and I instantly fell in love with them. These knives can cut thru pretty much anything. Even though they are steak knives, I use them everyday, no matter what I’m cutting. They are very sturdy & make a clean even cut w/ little to no effort. I needed a good knife at my house & have bought several other brands-none of which even came close to the same catagory as the Ginsu. I had to have a set for myself & can’t wait until they arrive. These are the only knives I will ever use.

This was one of the best buys I ever made. These knives are incredible. They are extremely sturdy and stand up to the Ginsu name for sure. I would definitely recommend them, and buy again.

These are very good knives, sharp, sturdy, attractive, well balanced and durable with reasonable care. Since they are of high carbon content stainless steel they are hard and remain sharp for a very long time. However, for the same reason, they are not totally impervious to some rust if run through a dishwasher frequently. Hand wash (carefully, they are sharp) and they will stay as new. The handles will not crack like cheap plastic competitor’s product. For the price, they are an excellent bargain. The whole matching product line is equally excellent. I bought these to extend a 14 piece set I already have.

Great knives, great price. I mostly hand-wash them but when I run the dishwasher I add them to it. So far zero stains and zero spots.
Strongly recommended.
