Bought this set based on Consumer Report’s best buy review. Everything is great. Knifes don’t look it, but they are very sharp and cut well. Only regret is I did not purchase earlier!

I bought these knives as a gift for my wife – and she I and both love them. They feel good in your hands, and keep an edge pretty well.

These are highly rated by Consumer Reports and a great buy. Well balanced, hold a great edge and even look great. No longer the Ginsu of the old TV ads but a top notch knife set.

The knife set is an excellent value. It is short a knife or two, but overall they are excellent knives for the money. I would recommend them.

Pros: the edge on these knifes are insanely sharp and will hold its sharpness for a very long time (provided that proper care was givin). i was able to maintain the edge for over three months of use with just the honing steel alone. they are perfectly balanced blades, which did not leave my wrists sore after using them for a while. the grips are suprisingly comfortable. i recomend EXTREME caution while handling these knives.
Cons: may be too sharp for someone with little experience handling knifes.
