The item was extremely heavy. I’m sure it was excellent quality but it was too long for my kitchen. I thought I had a place for it but when it arrived I realized it would not fit.

…under the counter, it’s a little tricky. I bought it to save space in our “convenient” kitchen, but mounting it under the counter makes the knives hard to see. If you have the space to put it on a wall or inside a door, that would be better. Magnet strength is great, knives are very secure but make sure they are seated fully on the magnet.

This is a great product. You’ll save a lot of space, keep knives away from little hands, and you can use it for other things, like metal spice/tea containers, paper clips, metal-barrel pens. It’s also a strong magnet- holds heavy objects easily.
