We got this to replace the paring knife that came in out cheapo Wal-Mart knife set.
Boy is this an upgrade. I had to buy myself a knife pocket knife to stop the urge of using this paring knife to open everything in the house. It is extremely sharp and has a nice bit of flexibility, but is very sturdy. We’ve had it about a month and it is still extremely sharp, I’m sure it will remain in our house for a lifetime with proper maintenance.

I got these knives as a present for my boyfriend, who used to not own a single decent knife. I got them because they’re dirt cheap, but then I read in Cook’s Illustrated that Victorinox is actually one of their top brands. It is super sharp and works great. A steal for this price!
