I’m not what you’d call your average military buff, nor what you’d call your average airsofter, and or geek. I am however creative and inventive, and I love playing with things and building things. However, for an upcoming event called zombie madness, I needed a CQC Knife to help me take out some of those dastardly undead. After purchasing these knives, (I bought a pair) I’ve found they make a great basis for foam to build a CQC knife for either everyday Melee events, or close combat in zombie warzones, and even nice and effective in average airsoft games. Great knife, just what I expected. A little wobbly, but honestly, if you’re not careful, you’ll poke someone’s eye out! Great product, from a great supplier.

Great buy, very flexible for when you really stab someone hard in training, or get stabbed.

Nice instrument for training, although I personally think it is just a little bit too stiff (which might not be a bad thing). The rubber is stiff enough to hurt you on a direct stab, so protection, especially for the eyes is definitely required.
The rubber is not so stiff to penetrate, as it is not sharp, but enough to cause bruises. You will also feel any direct impact of hard slashes on your bone and bare skin. A good instrument to play around and should help with your training. I suspect you can even use it for emergency defensive situation.
That being said, this rubber knife is not as hard as the tanto version. Based on the design, I also think this is more easily handled and is quicker than the tanto. I think it’s good to get different types of the knives so you can assess the speed and handling of each.

So what to expect from a “rubber knife”? I expect it to be at least as advertised. It was. It’s a good sized knife, the quality was pretty good and it works like it was designed to do. I play airsoft and simply touching someone with it counts as a kill. Plainly speaking though, this is big, looks bad-assed sticking out of my tactical vest and gives it a little more psych-out kick. It’s worth the money, you get what you pay for and the service is fast. I do recommend this vendor and the product to my airsoft buds who were looking for a high quality rubber knife to carry…
