I’ll repeat here what I said about the Cold Steel Tanto training knife:
Decided to pick this up to assist in training. For how much this cost, it is an excellent product: it is heavy duty, yet flexible enough not to really harm someone (unless you stupidly gouge them in the eyes!); has excellent detail in the checkering on the grip; it is life size so it’s realistic; anyone wanting a training knife or a knife for a Halloween costume prop should pick one of these up.
One detail I like about this knife is the guard is prominent, like on a full size knife of this design. Again, I think this aids in training. Highly recommended.

This is a perfectly good practice rubber knife.
I had expected something a few clicks smaller, but what the heck. This will do.
Seems perfectly safe for practice.

This is a very satisfactory training aid. The item is rigid enough for imobilisation techniques and to ensure that the opponent feels the sting on a hit, but soft enough not to injure the recipient of an attack. The design is close enough to a real knife to inspire reflection without offering danger of being confounded with the real thing. My only retiscence regards the weight of the item, which is not really close enough to reality, but then again, for safety’s sake it shouldn’t be.

Like, it’s a fake knife. You can’t really mess that up, but this thing works great for training. It’s large and has a pretty realistic handle. The rubber is rather bendy but is tough around to not flop around. There are a few gripes that I have though. The blade is large and bulky and therefore isn’t too realistic. Another problem is that it’s a bit too light to be a real blade. Overall though this is a great training tool for self defense knife situations.
