Sharp as a razor blade right out of the package. Sturdier than expected and great for such a low price. Easy to carry around on the belt and easy to release from the sheath. I was told by friends that the knife looked like it came out of Aladin and all I needed was a vest.

This knife is a good combination of workmanship functional dynamics. If I were left in the wilderness with this knife I think that I would have a chance to fight it out with a animal if it came down to it. Everyday survival would be covered as well. That is what a good knife is for. This is what Maxam delivers with this product. Enough said.

The thing I didn’t like about the knife was the handle has a cheap plastic grip screwed onto it. Other than that I like it. It doesn’t seem heavy duty but it’s still pretty sharp. It should get the job done and for 10 bucks it’s not bad to have.

It’s no where compared to the high quality knives like kabar, it has a extremely dull blade and I sharpened it. Good to show but not on field.
